Vineyards - Napa Valley

Vineyards and wineries have graced the Napa Valley since the mid-1800s, taking advantage of the warm temperatures and long growing season.

About 35,000 acres of the 297,000-acre Napa Valley have grapevines planted on it.

The Napa means " land of plenty " in the language of the Wappo peoples who first inhabited this area.
